Renfe boasts that their speed trains traveling from Valencia to Madrid in just over 90 minutes. That is fine, but at a price, namely about 80 euros. The same trip takes four hours using the regular bus with a price of 27 or 34 euros depending on the type of bus, more or less luxurious. The difference is not only price but that the AVE we pay all the English and the only bus that travels on it. Of course the bus is traveling on roads paid for by citizens, but paying their taxes. The funny thing is that in a price search to 20 days the price can be seen even better in flight, as there are flights from Spanair and Air Europa from Madrid and Valencia less than 50 euros.
I really like the social justice train but it seems very important. The company that operates the Madrid-Valencia coach also has good deals, such as a significant rate reduction for groups of three or more people, lowering prices by almost half.
The train best price that relationship is the Alvia, a bit slower but with prices around 62 euros. Regional train, do not ever, because the price is not profitable and the running time off the win.
